Kelsey and Ramana met on Bumble and after a few days of chatting they met up at Rumba in Capitol Hill. Ram got to the restaurant first (good job, Ram). When Kelsey walked up to the table and Ram stood up to give her a hug, she was shaking from nervousness. They connected instantly and the time flew by so fast before they knew it, the restaurant was closing. After a few more dates, Kelsey knew it was time for her secret weapon… Daisy. Ram met Daisy and that sealed the deal. Kelsey and Ramana met each other's families, went on lots of trips, and spent every moment they could together realizing more and more each day that they are meant to be.

Kelsey and Ramana planned a trip to Maui in May 2023. Leading up to the trip, Kelsey picked out all of her outfits for each activity they planned together. About 3 weeks before the trip, Ram mentioned ever so subtly that she should bring a white dress so they could “match at one of the dinners.” Since the itinerary was very full, Ram secretly canceled one of their dinners and planned the engagement for that night. He took Kelsey to the Wailea Beach Resort for “drinks before dinner” and when they arrived he walked her towards the waterfront while telling her all the things he loves about her. When they arrived at the picnic he had set up, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She, of course, said “yes!” and the passersby cheered as he placed her dream ring on her finger. He hired a photographer to capture the beautiful moment and organized a photo shoot just how Kelsey always imagined. They called their families that night to share the wonderful news and told all of their friends the next day. The congratulations from friends and family meant so much to them and they went straight into wedding planning when they got home.
